Job description
We are looking for an experienced, skilled, full-time vehicle mechanic/technician. The candidate does not need to be a gearbox specialist, however, competency and understanding of transmissions is important. Specialist transmission training will be provided.
Geartech is a friendly, family-run business. The selected candidate must be able to fit into a small team and work well alongside others. You must be adaptable and keen to develop your knowledge about gearboxes, transfer units and differentials specifically.
We are an extremely busy workshop and you will be required to work without supervision and use your initiative. Part of your role will be manually recording the detail of each project on a job card.

Location and benefits
Geartech offer good rates of pay and our standard working week is five days, we do not work weekends. Overtime is available during the week. Full holiday entitlement and pension scheme available. All tools and equipment is provided by Geartech. Salary starts at £20,000pa subject to experience.
We are based in Hartlebury in Worcestershire off the A442 Kidderminster Road. Our workshop is approximately 15 mins drive from Kidderminster and under 20 mins from Bromsgrove.
